Elizabeth Svenningsen -Artist, Designer, Entrepreneur

After receiving her BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, Elisabeth is a Brooklyn-based scenic designer and artist working in the tri-state area. Her work spans fine art pieces to scenic designs, most recently collaborating with Third Rail Projects to create Genuine Plastic Reliquaries, a three-part dance installation set in corporate lobbies throughout Manhattan. She is currently in the midst of associate designing Third Rail Projects’ next immersive dance production, The Grand Paradise, and is the Scenic Associate at Third Rail’s Then She Fell. Her other recent design and artistry credits include Becky Radway Dance Projects’ A Delicate Madness, Third Rail Projects’ House 17, Vestments of the Gods at the NYC Fringe Festival, and Summer Shorts at 59E59. Elisabeth is a proud mentee of the Wingspace Theaterical Design Mentorship Program.  Here is an example of her work:
