Frittelli and Lockwood

DSCN3287Cecilia Frittelli and Richard Lockwood have been involved with textiles for decades.  They work in our studio/gallery space called Textile Studio, located at the north end of the Arts District at 143 Grand Ave in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Their contemporary clothing and accessory collection is handwoven on both traditional and computerized looms. The American-spun yarns they weave include silk, merino, alpaca, and chenille, with a special emphasis on eco-friendly fibers from bamboo, hemp, and soy. They strive to be a zero-waste studio by upcycling our leftovers into pieced and patchworked clothing. After the weaving process is completed, our retro-inspired textiles are steam-finished, cut and sewn into custom-tailored garments with exceptional fit and comfort.
